• Camille was born in Reunion Island and grew up in New Caledonia in the South Pacific.

    At the age of 18, she enters the preparatory class of the ESAG-Penninghen, higher school of design, graphic design and interior architecture of Paris, ranks among the top 5 students and is admitted in the program’s second year. After graduating from her bachelor of interior architecture, Camille flies to Sydney, Australia.

    Architect Koichi Takada, former associate director at PTW Architects and Camille’s partner in an international architecture competition in Japan, invites her to move back to the southern hemisphere, under his tutelage she has the opportunity to design architectural perspectives for the projects of Jean Nouvel, Jennifer Hawkins or John Kaldor and to travel across the globe to meet renowned architects such as Renzo Piano, Toyo Ito, Jean Nouvel, Christoph Felger from David Chipperfield Architects and Kazuyo Sejima from SANAA as part of a project led by John Kaldor, one of Australia’s most important patrons of international contemporary art. Together they visit the most prestigious museums of contemporary art in Singapore, Japan, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany and France.

    She is then hired by French architect Pierre Lacombe of Tropical Architecture in Tahiti, in French Polynesia, to work on the first five star hotel of Corisco, an island off the coast of Equatorial Guinea. On this project she is in charge of designing the hotel’s facilities and later, the architectural drawings ordered by Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, President of Equatorial Guinea.

    After living in Paris, Sydney, Tahiti, Montreal and London, Camille became in 7 years the most famous and renowned artist in New Caledonia. Working on microscopic and macroscopic scale using a pointillist technique, she has developed a unique vision of Architecture : Architecture in nature, the science of art and the art of science…

    At the age of 35, she is one of the major artists in the contemporary art market of the South Pacific region.
